In our modern world, trash is now valuable and with proper processing, it can be reused for other purposes. Together, we Guimarasnon can build a better, cleaner, and brighter future by using modern technology to make use of what we once thought as trash, can now be reused to make materials that will result in cheaper ways to construct houses, roads, and public buildings. Trash can also provide more employment opportunities for recyclers, and finished products sales. Together, we will make Guimaras a beacon of sustainability in our region!

Not only we, Guimarasnon promotes sustainability, but also positions Guimaras as a leader in innovative, eco-friendly construction, attracting tourists, environmental advocates, and investors. Reducing waste accumulation in Guimaras by diverting non-biodegradable materials from landfills and waterways and use these recycled Tetra Pak cartons, plastics and many more to build eco-tourism infrastructure such as hollo blocks, roofs, cottages, walkways, and visitor centers.

Our fishermen can also double as expert guide for tourists that want an adventure, to experience how to catch their own food, or immerse themselves in the life of a Guimarasnon fisherman for a day! And take note that all our fishing boats will have a GPS locator for safety as well as an emergency beacon of our own design in case of emergencies.

Eco-tourism. Tourists especially foreigners can be attracted to a program wherein they are taught marine and environmental conservation and sustainable fishing and the like.

Transportation drivers or self-drive motorcycle. Using the Guimaras App, any licensed driver approved by the government can receive requests from tourists anytime and anywhere. Tourists can also request motorcycles available for rent from anyone willing to make extra money.

Expansion of seaweed cultivation plus additional chlorella production that can be used for health supplements for export and biodiesel for our fishermen.

Tour guides for tourists will be a more attractive side job for Guimarasnon. Using the Guimaras mobile app, prospective guides nearest to the tourist can accept a request to guide tourists. Guimarasnons after all know their island the best.
